Another great site for improving your English while reading articles is Voa Learning English. This site is written in American English, and it will be very useful if you want to familiarize yourself with the English spoken in the US. For every article, there is sound file that comes with it which will help you learn the correct words and accents. At the end of the article there is a glossary that has more in depth explanations of certain terms used in the text. Why not try it out? You can also test your listening skills with the audio and without the text, to test your listening comprehension.

On Voa Learning English in addition to the articles, subdivided by level, there are interesting sections you can use to improve your English and deepen your understanding of American culture.
