Keri Smith and her idea of creativity
She was born in Canada but lives in the United States. She has written several books. the fantasy, imagination and creativity in the most primitive sense of the term. She is also a great illustrator of “guerrilla art”, a section of art that branches out from “street art” and which proposes itself as an analysis of consumerism, the modern world and celebrities.
According to Smith creativity is definitely dominated by the environment that surrounds an individual; the rules of the busy modern life force us to use much more of the left hemisphere, than the right (which is precisely the part that deals with art and emotions).
Creativity is the perception of the world around us observed from different angles to capture as many possible shades and to change around the most common and usual concepts.
